In Level 1 you learned how to access the EMS system and begin a patient assessment.
Level 2 introduces CPR and Basic First Aid ‘book-knowledge’ so you can maximize your time effectively:
- Your brain needs time to process information so it knows what to do: ‘When you see (this life threat), do (this skill).’ The WHY, WHAT, and WHEN
- You can focuses on the ‘hands-on’ skills during the in-person class. Fortunately, the HOW will just make sense.
Challenge #1: do a quick internet search for “What is the average response time for 9-1-1?”.
